Nothing clutters up your refrigerator, and by extension your kitchen, faster than those little magnetic alphabet letters. My son loves those letters, and he uses them quite often to write us little messages, which is adorable. So I didn’t want to get rid of them; I just wanted to organize them so they looked less cluttered.
Here’s my solution: I came across an old automotive drip pan for 75 cents at SCRAP in NE Portland. I merely converted his old chalkboard to a magnetic board by propping the drip pan up against it. It was a perfect fit.
Nathan is delighted with the new location of the letters. He promptly wrote us a new message. And now I have my fridge back, uncluttered.

What a great idea and the perfect use for an old drip pan. Thanks for linking to the party. I hope to see you again next time too.
