Making a lamp out of kitchen supplies — genius!

April 17, 2009 by respaced

When you look at an old vegetable strainer and a metal tea ball, do you see a lamp? Yael Erel and Avner Ben Natan of lightexture do. In an excellent example of recycling, they have taken the above-mentioned kitchen accessories and turned them into a wall-mounted lamp with a swing arm. Check out their online store on etsy.

The dotted-effect on a wall when the lamp is lit is simply magical.
