Clever DIY organized way to store kids’ travel art supplies

I love this traveling art pouch made by Mr. Monkeysuit for its simplicity, usefulness and organizational possibilities. This would be a perfect way to store children’s art supplies for that long car trip to Grandma’s house this Christmas. Or you could adjust the size of each pocket and use it to hold your toothbrush, hairbrush, shampoo and other necessities when you travel.
She posts the pattern here, so you can make it yourself out of four pieces of fabric measuring a mere 8″ x 19″. Wouldn’t this be a great gift for a child, complete with a new set of crayons, stickers and small activity book? I may just have to fire up the sewing machine and make this for my own little guy …
