I know you’ve been putting it off because you think real art is expensive.That’s why I highly recommend you go to the Buckman Art Show and Sell this weekend. Trust me, this is no kitschy craft fair.
More than 100 artists will be there selling high quality work that has passed a rigorous jury process to be selected. Work includes paintings, ceramics, photography and toys.
In its 20th year, the show is a benefit for Buckman Elementary School, an arts magnate school in SE Portland. Rumor has it people get in line early hoping to get first dibs on this amazing art at low prices, so get there early!
The show runs 5-9 p.m. tonight and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. tomorrow at Buckman Elementary School, located at 320 SE 16th Ave in Portland. Admission is $5 on Friday and $2 on Saturday. Now go get something that doesn’t scream “dorm room” to spruce up your digs or just go to be inspired!
