If you struggle with compulsive hoarding or have a family member who does, please consider participating in this survey for a research study from the University of Minnesota.
Jennifer Sampson, the researcher conducting this survey, writes, “To date, there are no large-scale studies that examine the joint influence that family experiences and unresolved trauma have on the severity of hoarding behavior. The results of this study will be used to better understand how various experiences and family support may influence hoarding behavior.”
The finished paper will be named “The Influences of Unresolved Trauma and Family Experiences on Compulsive Hoarding Behavior: An Internet Survey.”
To participate in this survey, you need to have a problem with compulsive hoarding or be a family member of someone who does. You also need to be over the age of 18. The survey takes 20-40 minutes to complete. Click on the link to participate: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/hoardingprojectsurvey You have until August 31, 2012 to participate.
