To keep your bathroom tidier, eliminate almost everything on the counter. Store everything in drawers or cabinets instead. This will make a daily swipe-down of the counter much faster for you.
An easy way to organize drawers is to assign each drawer a different grooming need. For example, you might have a drawer for all your hair care, one for all your eye care, one for all your dental care, etc.
Bathroom drawers really need dividers, because they hold so many tiny things. We love using these adjustable dividers from Amazon.
Tired of grimy drawer interiors? I’ve noticed that if I clean the hair out of my hairbrush after I use it each time, my drawer stays a lot cleaner inside.
Consider adding more towel bars, even if it means raising or lowering existing towel bars. This is a super simply task for a handyperson to do, and prevents the build-up of wet towels on the counters or over the shower rod.
Have kid toys in the bathtub? It helps to store them in a perforated basket so they can drip-dry on the edge of the tub after bath time. You could even use shower curtain rings to hang the basket from the curtain rod so they are out of the way.
The bathroom mirror is a great place to write reminders to yourself in dry erase pen. When my son was struggling to remember his new daily grooming routine, I wrote it on the mirror with dry erase pen and it helped immensely.
