My four-year-old likes to draw cars, so I picked out all of his car drawings, cut them up and glued them collage-style on a large (22″ x 28″) piece of paper. I don’t feel guilty about recycling the rest of the car drawings, because I used so many of the best ones. Then I framed the collage. Now it will be a unique birthday present for my husband this weekend (so please don’t tell him about this blog post!) Chad is the general manager at an autobody collision repair center, so a collage of cars is perfect decor for his office.

With the frame on sale, I only spent about $45, while eliminating a significant portion of the art collection on the counter. If you want more ideas for showcasing/storing your children’s artwork, read here.
