I mentioned in my last post that my husband finally decided to let me help organize the garage after trying to organize it on his own over the last two years. Here are some before and after photos:

Yeah, I know that cord would look a lot better wound up in the above photo, but we’re going for functional here, not perfect. Plus, I took these photos about a week after the actual clean-out. He’s spending more time in the garage now, which is an excellent sign!
This job resulted in a pickup truck full of garbage, another nearly full pickup truck of scrap metal, one garbage bag of donations, about 12 bottles of gunk destined for the hazardous waste disposal center, a couple of things to sell on Craigslist (Rollerblades, anyone?) and a couple of things given to friends. Mission accomplished!
